Bouillon Julien: One of the most classic of dining rooms in all of Paris, dining in that room is worth the price of the meal alone. An endive salad, fish and chips, finished off with baba a rhum is just 21 euros. Bouillon Chartier: It's a large dining room with big brassy fixtures and tall mirrors. Waiters are traditionally dressed and the service is quick and snappy. The Professor usually starts off with a half dozen escargot, steak frites, and finishes it up with a chocolate mousse all for under 22 euro. Bouillon Pigalle: The new kid on the block in the lively area of Pigalle is always crowded. But if you show up early, you should get a spot. What The Professor would order is the terrine de campagne to start followed by traditional bœuf bourguignon as the main course.
